Rio Branco Beach Soccer is getting to the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol de Areia (Brazilian National Beach Soccer Championship) with high expectations.
This year, beach soccer maestro Bruno Xavier is back on his hometown club, together with former internationals such as Bruno Malias or Betinho, rounding a young and talented squad.
In the official presentation of the team, held last week in Vitoria, Bruno Xavier voiced the team’s ambitions, including going all the way in the national arena and trying to secure a berth in the Copa Libertadores:
“If we fight together as a team, we can win the Campeonato Brasileiro and reach the Copa Libertadores”, the 2013 adidas Golden Ball and 2014 Best Player of the Year assured.
