Brazil takes the lead in Copa das Nações

The Brazilian team began on winning note in the Copa das Naçoes 2013. The Verdeamarerla beat the Mexican National side (5-2) on the sand of Santos, with a prominent performance by defender Daniel Zidane, who scored a hat trick.

Switzerland win the European battle

In the opening game of the competition, current Euro Beach Soccer League champions Switzerland edged the Netherlands. The match was as leveled as the tight score suggests, with the Alpine notching one more to retain the points.

Spacca, Stankovic, Meier, Borer and Valentin scored for Schirinzi?s side, whereas Kaleveld, Ax, Koswal and Summerville did it for Kokmeijer?s.
