The Beach Soccer Foundation to set up again this particular campaign before ball flies in Copa Lagos 2012
The second edition of the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer 2012 will have a lovely opening, with the Clean the Beach action, held by The Beach Soccer Foundation, the Copa Lagos 2012 Organizing Committee and First City Monument Bank (FCMB). In the morning of Thursday 13th, before the official training sessions begin, all staff members, delegation members and sponsors will be coming down to Eko Atlantic City to show how important it is to take care of our beaches.
FCMB is taking this year a special relevant position in the event, engaging the youth and taking active part in the tournament framework and these special activities, with some other surprises yet to be unveiled.
Beach Soccer people love the beach, and they absolutely believe that taking care of the beaches is everybody?s concern. The sand is our home, where we live and play, and no efforts are to be saved when dealing with keeping them clean.
This same action was a really successful initiative last year, in the Copa Lago?s maiden edition, with more than 100 people involved, and it was taken some other times during the season, like the one in Miami Beach.
