Angelo Schirinzi earns his 300th cap!

The Swiss played his 300 international game for ‘La Nati’ this Sunday, in the final of the European Qualifier in Jesolo

300 hundred games is a landmark only attainable for big beach soccer stars, a figure only reserved for devoted professionals who live beach soccer with passion, respect and professionalism. Swissman Angelo Schirinzi has just joined this very exclusive club, after breaking this landmark in the last FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015 – Qualifier Europe Jesolo-Italy.

Since his first international game in 2001, Angelo Schirinzi has always been the most recognizable face of the successful Swiss beach soccer. Despite during the last years his presence on the very sand has been decreasing, due to the fact that he has been alternating his role as coach and as player, his impact on the Alpine side is absolutely noticed.

Having played in two FIFA Beach Soccer World Cups, even getting to the final of the competition in 2009, 14 Euro Beach Soccer Leagues and many other beach soccer top-flight events, Angelo Schirinzi is a living part of history of this sport, and his knowledge and will absolutely keep adding a lot of value to the sport.
